Our department based in the DEUMU headquarters in Peine is responsible for organising the various activities involved in buying and selling ferrous scrap. Our most important objective is the guaranteed supply of ferrous scrap to the steel works and foundries in Germany and its neighbouring countries which are regular customers of ours. The main emphasis of our activities is the supply to the steel works of the SALZGITTER Group based in Peine and Salzgitter. Furthermore, we deal with companies delivering huge quantities of ferrous scrap as a by-product of their production.

We operate a scrap yard in Salzgitter situated on the premises of the Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH. The incoming quantities of ferrous scrap are classified and recycled appropriately. You can find further information regarding our plants under technical equipment.

In Magdeburg we operate a yard dealing with the transhipment of ferrous scrap. It is situated near an industrial harbour and equipped with cranes. Ferrous scrap is embarked on ships and afterwards shipped to its destination.
